I can't help but see three layers here. The dancing clouds along the horizon with the sun, then the fiery orange/yellow clouds, and at the top the dartker clouds still showing clearer skies above and around them. The clearer skies higher up also light up the water differently, going from blue to red to white.
Monday's sunset in Mazatlan!
Every sunset is different and has various aspects that make it special. I loved the almost purple color of the very high clouds on this one. They didn't quite get the blazing glory, but enough to be seen.
