I love detail.Taking multiple hi-res photos and stitching them together gives a panoramic view of a scene,
yet still enables you to drill into the details and see the smaller stuff.
When viewing these, in the far lower-right corner an icon that shows sizes you can view, select the largest it allows.
You can then scroll around the pic at the detail level.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Vertical Panoramic Photo. I love panorama pics. This is 12 full size photos combined in a single photo, VERTICALLY! Combined about 60+mp. Sadly it gets a bit distored, curved buildings and all, but lots of details if you actually zoom in. Download the pic and take a look around.
Seattle, Washington. Taken from the Norwegian Jewel Cruise ship. The fun in doing panorama photos for me is to grasp the whole scene and still be able to see the detail. This photo is a combination of 7 photos into a single one, each photo shot at full 24mp. The resuling photo is 18,510 pixels x 7181. The photo of the Pike street Market and park is a 1:1 enlargment from this photo. If you download and look at this photo in its "actual" size, that is the detail you can get.
